Welcome to Duck Barn Interiors. We are a family-run small business, founded and run by Tracy Young, based in West Sussex. We love finding beautiful furniture and high quality home furnishings that we would be proud to have in our own homes - all displayed on one boutique website that will deliver direct to your door.
The journey began after Tracy and her husband had built their own house. Never something that they had ever planned to do but when the opportunity came along, it seemed like a chance not to be missed... and so the adventure began!
When it came to the interiors Tracy had the vision for what she wanted, but found herself spending a huge amount of time searching for furniture and accessories to suit their new home:
“When tackling the interior design, choice, quality and price varied considerably and sometimes it just wasn't 'quite right'. After much exploring, I gradually found the items to suit, but it had been quite a long-winded task which, I felt, could have been easier and that’s where the idea for Duck Barn Interiors began.”
The name Duck Barn came from a home in the village where Tracy grew up. "There were ducks in their pond that I used to love feeding as a child, despite one regularly pecking my finger!”
Tracy:
“I wanted to make furnishing a home an exciting and hassle-free experience for others, so I started to curate collections of items that were high quality, worked well together, and that I would happily have in my own home.”
Every item you’ll find at Duck Barn has been hand selected by Tracy; something that’s hugely important to her and the brand.
Some are from trusted manufacturers, others from up-and-coming designers and boutiques. All items have been chosen to work well together and evoke an ‘Ooh, where did you get that from?’ comment from your friends and family.
Tracy:
“I attend trade shows so that I can see the products in person, which enables me to check their quality.
Our online customers can't physically see or touch the product first, so it's imperative that I do that.”

As well as running Duck Barn Interiors, Tracy Young offers a bespoke show home interior design service. Tracy uses her extensive experience in purchasing and interior design to create beautiful show homes that make prospective buyers want to live in the homes you’ve built.
